This 2-year-old, 30-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix guy is always bursting with energy and happiness, and he loves nothing more than spending time with his person. Drake's general personality is upbeat, friendly, and eager to please. He is a great companion for those who love to be active, as he enjoys going for walks, running, and playing games. One of the most endearing things about Drake is the fact that he always looks like he's smiling. Whether he's playing fetch in the yard or lounging on the couch, his mouth is always turned up in a grin. He loves to be petted and will wiggle his way under your hand until he gets the attention he's craving. Drake is also a great companion for bedtime, as he loves to sleep at the foot of the bed. He is a very quiet sleeper, and won't disturb his person during the night. His gentle and affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around, and he is sure to bring happiness to anyone who is lucky enough to have him in their life. He knows a few commands; Stay, Sit, Stop and he is mostly housetrained - he just needs a consistent schedule to be the rest of the way there. Drake is quiet in the crate and doesn't mind resting in it when needed. Drake likes to play with the other dogs and is curious about the cats in his foster home. He walks well on a leash and rides nicely in the car. He is an easygoing boy and we think he would love to have a home where he gets lots of attention and would love other dogs to play with.
