My name is Grizzly! My foster mom is a teacher. Her student let her know that my sister and I would follow him to school. He told her that we had been dumped on the dirt road in front of his house. He called her one day to let her know that they were following him and I got hit by a car. The car drove away. My foster mom was on the way to the school and she came right over. She picked me up and ran me to the vets office and rushed back to school. They splinted my leg. Another neighbor called and asked if he could adopt me. They came and picked me up. Somewhere in the night I broke out of my cone and pulled the splint off breaking my leg worse. Back to the vet I went. They said I did so much damage that they could amputate or put me to sleep. My foster mom said no we would amputate because the other option was not going to happen. I got my surgery and I don't even know my leg is missing until I go to scratch. I do think I am a goat. I love to pop up on buckets or chairs. I am a normal dog. I would make a great hiking or walking buddy. I would definitely make a great family dog. I love to cuddle and give kisses. I do need a wood fence or a wall because I know how to use chain link to crawl out. If you would like to give me a great home then please request an application. The rescue is also still collecting donations for my surgery. You may donate on our rescue page at roverrangerrescue.org.
