About Tucker

Tucker is an 11 yr old Australian Shepherd looking for a retirement home with lots of soft, comfy places to catch some zzz's. Tucker is a quiet, senior boy, but still loves to play and explore the yard. He has excellent manners and is a faithful companion. He gets along well with 2 much younger foster siblings, though they can be a bit too much for him at times. Tucker came to ASF with a mouth full of rotting and broken teeth. He had surgery to remove 15 teeth! He was also treated for anaplasmosis, a tick-borne disease. As you would expect with any senior, he has arthritis and unfortunately, possibly an ACL tear. At his age, ACL surgery would be hard for him to power through. Tucker is currently on O'Paws advanced mobility, salmon oil, Dasuquin w/ MSM, Rimadyl and Tramadol. The medications and supplements will need to be continued to keep him as comfortable as possible. Tucker would love a fenced yard where he can explore and lie in the sun for the rest of his days.
