About Georgie

GEORGIE is a good looking 6 year old, 20 pound Terrier mix. LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: He needs to be an only dog in the home. HIGHLIGHTS: Very sweet, great with people and housebroken! Georgie has a beautiful soft coat (that we recently had cut down because he was getting hot) and is a very friendly and loving boy. He loves spending time with his person and is a big fan of pets and attention. He loves to have his belly rubbed too! Georgie sleeps in the big bed and cuddles with his person. He particularly likes it if he can share the pillow! Georgie loves to go in and out the doggy door and check out what is going on outside. He is potty trained. He walks on a leash, but would do best with a fenced yard. Georgie is not very good with other dogs. He wants all the love and attention from his people for himself and will scrap with them, but he's very sweet and friendly with his people. He has not been cat tested. He was with kids in his previous home and a home with older kids would be okay for him, but no one under 12. Georgie has been to the vet for wellness checks, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Applicants should live within a 1-2 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted. *To meet a dog or be considered for adoption you must first submit an adoption application for review.
