About Bug

**Adoption Fee Sponsored ** Big Bug is my name and loving is my game! I am a 4 and a half year old French Bulldog and Boxer mix. I came to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me. I've been at the shelter a really long time now and would like a home to call my own. I am a little slow to trust (some people would call that discerning!), but when I do I will be your loyal companion! I am very affectionate and love, love, love my people. I really enjoy taking walks and being outside. I like to run and I get the 'zoomies' so I would adore a fenced yard. I love playing with toys and will throw them up in the air. Car rides are the bomb but I am not a fan of getting out of the car! I came from a home with several dogs; however, I may be dog selective - so I would need to meet any canine companion before moving into the household. I don't yet know how I am with cats. I have been walked through an area with cats at the shelter and I found it fascinating! When I arrived at the shelter, it was obvious that I hadn't had much training. The dedicated Dog Walkers been working with me and, because I am so smart and eager to please, I am making good progress. I know 'sit' and 'wait' if a treat is offered. I will need more training for manners and walking on a leash. So, my person should be patient, strong and willing to work with me. It will be worth the effort!
