Meet Willow! Willow came to us after being hit by a car. After a little TLC, she is now healed up and ready to find her fur-ever home. She is roughly 2 years old and a typical husky - smart, energetic, a bit mischievous ... and a total love bug. This girl just loves to snuggle and be with her people. This beauty is crate trained, enjoys a good car ride and loves walks. Willow does well on a leash, however, she can pull a bit and can slip her harness if too excited. This goof ball loves the snow, is playful, curious...and needs a family to call her own. She has been exposed to cats in a very controlled manner, however, we are uncertain how a physical interaction would go. As for dogs, she loves her canine buddies! She plays well and loves to run! Willow is very food aggressive with other dogs. That is her one quirk. She is not toward humans at all. But even a grocery bag of food can make her react aggressively toward another dog. Per the typical husky characteristics, Willow is going to need room to exercise in a very secure, escape proof area. Because Willow has been known to chase cars - which didn't turn out so well for her - she will definitely need supervised when outside and not contained in a secure area. Please, only apply if you can give Willow a fur-ever home. If you are interested in adopting Willow, you must fill out an application first. You can go to www.LAFPOGCW.org to complete one, or message us here and we will email you a copy. You must fill out and submit an application to even be considered for a meet and greet. We do require references. Thank you!
