About Urgent Foster Needed

Urgent: Dwayne has been at the shelter for 13 months and is exhibiting shelter exhaustion, he needs a foster or adopter urgently !!!My name is Dwayne. I am a goofy and boyishly-handsome 5-year-old pibble. I came to the shelter as a stray, and have been a shelter resident for over a year. It's been a good stay, the food is good, housekeeping is second to none, and the entertainment is top notch. The shelter even sent me to a 6- week 'finishing school' so I could refine my social skills! While I have no complaints about my shelter stay, I am getting tired from all the stimulation and fatigue the shelter life brings. I really do need a fur-ever home, one that can provide all the luxuries that will allow me to live my best life. I am somewhat introverted. This means that I prefer a calm, quiet home. It can be difficult to find my zen amongst chaos. This means no cats or other small stinky critters. These things tend to make me anxious. I might be ok with another dog, but I would have to be introduced to ensure they meet my approval. I would also need a 6 ft secure fence that will keep me safe from any annoyances that might disturb me. I enjoy ear scratches and back and belly rubs, but only when I initiate such affection, which is often! I love my walks, exploring every smell along the way. My dog walker says I am her favorite dog to walk (duh!). While I love my walks, I find no joy in over-exerting myself. After a walk, I enjoy a treat and relaxing with a good chew toy. Right now, I'm working on a candy-corn-shaped chew toy...it's awesome! I also enjoy car rides, window rolled down with my ears flopping in the wind.
