About Ruger/Mason

Ruger( his owner named him Mason) came to the shelter via the vet office. Ruger was shot and the Sheriffs Dept picked him up and took him to get medical treatment. At the time, the vet did not know if he had an owner so he was surrendered to the shelter. He was treated by the vet and weeks later, he healed up. An owner did come forward and there was communication about him going back to his owners, but it did not work out. He is 3 -4 years old, weighs 45-50 lbs., is UTD with shots, neutered, heartworm negative and we will chip him. He is good with other dogs and kids, we will cat test if needed. Since he had an owner, he may have had housetraining, but we are not sure. Sweet boy, good on a leash, active and athletic so would be a good outside buddy for someone.
