Who wants the BEST dog?? We took in a dog over the weekend at long last, only to discover we have an allergy in the family. We're devastated. But enough about us-- THIS DOG, Y'ALL. He is such a gentleman! So sweet, approaches people calmly, takes treats tenderly, rarely barks, is overall calm and very gentle. When he plays, he's still very much a puppy and wants to jump and nip. He would be ecstatic to play tug of war with you. He could use a little training but he WANTS to be obedient! He's done great with the little training we've done. I honestly think a quick pet store program and gentle lead collar and you'd be good to go. He wants so badly to please you-- he'd be great for first time dog owners! While he is great with kids (I have three, all young and noisy. He isn't phased by their commotion one bit. My two year old fell on him and he didn't flinch,) I think he would really love being the only attention receiver in a home. He hasn't wanted to engage or play with my kids, only me. Maybe it's too soon to tell and that will change. Hard to know for sure. House broken. Will be sad about the crate but still goes in and isn't destructive. WAS heartworm positive but has been treated by his rescue-- they've provided enough heartworm preventatives to see him through until being retested. Good with dogs! Wants to meet everyone and loves everyone. Will follow you around like a baby duck. :) A friend came to meet him and he just calmly sat next to us on the grass and enjoyed the petting while we chatted for 20 minutes. You'll have to apply through his rescue but they said they'll expedite everything since it's a health issue. You can also have all the things we've prepared-- crate, leashes, toys, treats and stuff. Please help me find this sweet boy a home! He absolutely deserves it. ��%BD��%BDͻ��%BD��%BDͻ
