Chica was found on the side of the road with a broken leg and neck laceration. No one claimed her, so we took her in and nursed her back to health in 2021. She was underweight, in heat, and about 2 years old when we got her. Not much is know about her before we got her other than she was found in a rough neighborhood and she was very timid and anxious. She is great on walks and with other adults. She is very loving with our newborn son, but she is very anxious around our other dogs. We don't know her temperament with toddlers and prefer she is not in a home with young children. When she is unsure of her surroundings, she will get aggressive and attack another dog if near by. She has shown aggression towards strangers, but has never bitten anyone. She has attacked my neighbors dog who wandered into our yard. As a result, we have to take her to our local animal shelter by April 15th. Requirements to adopt Chica: No children in the house under 13 No other pets in the house Must own home Must be willing to visit her before adopting
