About Vages

Vages is a little troubled. He's had very limited human contact and very few things growing up. He's very smart. House breaking him took 2 days. But he needs an experienced owner for the breed and his needs. He loves running, playing and eating like most dogs. But needs very firm training. He is not for first time dog owners, that was his problem to begin with. As of now, no children because he's not use to being touched in certain ways and rough housing is minimal because he gets scared and will snap, he'll need plenty of training, socialization and Desensitizing. He can be very cling and wanna do everything with you. Personal space no longer an option if you don't train him to give you space. He'll chew his toys with his head in your lap and lay at your feet. He is a house dog not an out door dog or an apartment. He loves the snow. But what he loves more is going on long walks in the snow but even that can not beat his love of spending time with you! Trail walks will probably be one of the loves of his life. He shreds toys so be vigilant. He needs someone with a lot of time, patience and love for outdoors and love for dogs! He will do good in a house with other dogs. He likes to chase cats and smell them, even when they disapprove. Other small pets are a no. His nose sometimes gets him in trouble. I wanna keep him but it may not be an option so if a better home comes along he will go there. We are fostering him at this point, and he is doing might well.
