(DOB 12/23/2022). Due to Sullivan's young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). Meet Sully from our Monsters, Inc. litter! Sully would love for you to swaddle him in a soft blankie and just snuggle him! It's his absolute favorite thing to do, and he will quietly nuzzle your neck and give you soft puppy kisses. If he wants to be held, he will look up at you with his big, soulful, puppy eyes, and you will not be able to resist! f you pick up a different puppy, he brings out the big guns and howls for a bit. He loves being petted and stroked. Sully is pretty much the mildest and sweetest puppy of the litter (most of the time) and loves people. He absolutely loves cuddled and held. Sully and his littermates are very smart. They learned right away to sit on command for a treat, and are doing very well with other training. They are learning to stay calm to receive their treat, and to take their treat nicely. He can be a little greedy over food so we are working on his manners and letting him know he doesn't need to growl at his sweet little sister or brothers and there is plenty to go around for everyone! They are still puppies, and puppies have sharp teeth and can be a bit nippy. Sully and his siblings have been learning bite inhibition, and are doing well with not biting very much, or very hard, but they do still bite sometimes. Sully loves to play with toys - any toy! Squeakers, plushies, chew toys - Sully loves them all. He enjoys playing tug with his siblings, but he really wants to play tug with you! Puppies love to chew, so Sully will need a big supply of fun puppy toys. Sully was around children for a few days and did well with them so children 8+ should be fine in his fur-ever home. Sully is not yet house trained, but he has done well with learning to use a pee pad. He is very bright, and treat motivated, so he should be easy to house train. He makes a big production of having to poop, so you will definitely know when he needs to go out! He has access to a crate and sometimes sleeps there, but he has not yet been officially crate trained. He has not yet met other dogs, or kitties, but he's young enough that he should adjust easily. Since he is still a puppy a home with another dog for him to play with, who can teach him the ropes, help get his puppy energy out and build his confidence is what is best for this adorable guy! Sully's mom is about 50 lbs, so Sully is expected to be between 50 and 60 lbs as well. His mom and siblings all have a similar sweet temperament, and they all love to be around people. Sully doesn't require a fence but would likely enjoy it to play and romp around with his furry sibling(s); a solid panel fencing or have very narrow spacing that would be appropriate for a puppy. If there is no fence, a commitment of lots of appropriate play time, daily walks, to burn his puppy energy. As part of Sullivan's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email [email protected].
