About Chance

Very friendly and loves people. Knows commands sit, lay down, shake, stay/come, leave it/take it. House trained/crate trained. Has some issues that may require professional help: some anxiety when being left alone, resource guarding, shows aggression/will bite when force (grabbing collar when refusing to come when called)/discipline (smack on the nose for chewing) is used. Stubborn and will not always respond as desired when he doesn't have enough motivation to do so (mostly motivated by treats), needs regular exercise or stimulation (like another dog to play with) in order to reduce destructive behavior (chewing, digging). Will be surrendered to animal control after 10 day quarantine is up if not adopted before then. Bit a family member (8 year old) he was unfamiliar with, and has snapped at my 1 year old, but does well with my 6 year old. Hate for him to be put down, but my partner no longer wants to deal with him or his issues.
