About Cece

Meet Cece! Cece was found as a stray in Haywood County. She is extremely timid and sweet. Her first few days in the shelter she was extremely scared. She is learning that no one is going to hurt her and starting to trust shelter employees. She also has community visitors who come to see her and help her socialize. They bring her yummy treats of fresh baked chicken and such to make sure she enjoys her visits. She is more independent outdoors and learning to love her time with visitors. We have learned she is dog friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs outside. She is also cat friendly. This sweet girl needs a family who will be patient with her. If someone is interested in training her to even learn basic obedience commands (sit, stay, down, etc.) it will help her to build confidence, come out of her shell, and connect with her people. Cece is about 50 pounds and around 2 years old. We believe she is a Border Collie mix. She has been vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworms and any tickborne diseases.
