About Kennedy

Kennedy came to us from Yuma Humane Society. He was battling some kind of infection and once treated we were able to see his personality emerge. He is very sweet and calm. Even though he is blind he is very trusting and responds well to new people. He is using medications for his eyes and it seems to be helping. He is good about using puppy pads but is not always able to let his foster mom know when he needs out. Having a yard would definitely make that process easier. He walks on a leash (slowly) and does fine crated or in an enclosure. He is a pretty easy keeper once he gets used to a home and routine though he can be a little protective about his 'space' and food which is understandable due to his vision impairment. He is around 19lbs and is estimated at 8-9 years. He did have a dental while in rescue and ready for his own home!
