About Socks

Socks is a charming young dog (-8-9 months old) who found himself homeless, but has been taken in by a lovely foster family. Socks has been fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be neutered on 3/15/23. He is Heartworm negative and has also been tested negative for tick borne diseases. He has been started on heart worm prevention and flea/tick control. Socks is a typical 'teenager' dog. He is extremely responsive and sensitive to commands- Responds to sit very nicely but definitely needs continued guidance and training. He likes to explode stuffed animals and will need to be kept busy to help with his energy level. That said, he's very content to snuggle up next to you and chill for awhile. In typical lab fashion he loves the water and its hard to keep him out of it. Socks would love to join a farm family where has lots of room to run, or a very active family with a big secure enclosed back yard.
