About HAVANA, ooh na-na

Havana was picked up as a stray, starving and infested with heartworms. Not to worry though, she underwent heartworm treatment and is now free and clear to be adopted! Havana has been with a foster for about a month, where with love, regular meals and care, she has really flowered into a wonderful dog. She is a super sweet 2-year old Dogue de Bordeaux mix, weighing in at around 50 lbs. She comes spayed, vaccinated and up to date on preventatives. She is very friendly with strangers and just loves the kiddos, but is not amiable towards felines nor small prey animals. Havana rides well in a car, knows some basic commands, and is learning leash etiquette. She does NOT dig up your yard, NOR excessively bark, NOR exhibit any resource guarding (such as food/toys). However, still being young, she does enjoy her chews and to incite her big brother into endless play. She has a very sweet demeanor and feeds of the energy of the home. She does love to run, play and snuggle, making her an all-around wonderful pup. Havana would make a great companion for an active family with kids and another doggy friend with whom she could romp!
