About Zoe

Zoe has been fostered since early July 2022, and is still looking for a place to call her furrever home! Zoe is a 3 y/o, 55# lady who wants nothing more than to be included in whatever her human is doing. She loves days filled with long walks with lots of sniffs, treats, and then retiring after to snuggle up with Netflix for episodes on end! Zoe was owner surrendered to the Houston city shelter days after giving birth, but without her pups. After just 3 days her 'final plea' was sent out, meaning she was next up on the euthanasia list. Luckily her now foster mom was volunteering that day and decided to bring her home. In the beginning it was hard for her to trust anyone. It's been 8 months and Zoe is still an introvert, but open to meeting new people that will go steady with her. Once you've earned her trust, she will be the most loyal furriend you've ever had. The ideal adopter would have another dog (no cats), as her doggy foster brother has been a great help for Zoe to build confidence. And while Zoe is always down for a car ride or outting to a dog-friendly patio, at home she likes to keep it calm so a family with older or no kids would be best.
