About Jaxx

I have a 6.5 (will be 7 in June) lab/boxer mix Jaxx. He's been with me my whole life, but due to financial hardship I am forced to move back home with family. They refuse to take him & this is a very last case scenario, I would love to keep him but there's just nothing so can do. I've called & emailed probably about 100 shelters & they're all full. I have until Saturday March 11, 2023 to find him somewhere and after that he & I will either be living out of my car or he will be boarded (I can only afford to board him for so long). He really means the world to me & euthanizing him just isn't an option for me. He is a very smart, affectionate, loyal, loving dog. He can be very skittish/anxious sometimes, but once he's comfortable he will want to be pet all day. He's lived with a cat & small dog & did great with them, he's not very interested in other animals, tends to stay away from them. He's never been around big dogs/children and gets really cautious when he sees them, so it would be best he goes to a home without big dogs or children. He loves toys, being pet, & cuddling, he is not a fan of swimming/baths but will tolerate baths. He had his shots updated 3/3/23 & I have proof. He is very well house trained, never has accidents and can be left alone for long periods of time. He is a great dog & it's very important I find somewhere for him to go, any help is appreciated, even if temporary.
