About Skywalker

Meet Skywalker! Skywalker alongside two of his housemates were turned in to puppy jail after munching on the family chickens. It was a decision he regrets deeply (not really), but he would like the chance to turn a new leaf in a new home that suits him better. Ideally, a home where his favorite treat isn't hopping around in the backyard tempting him. Skywalker is a calm fella who we believe probably succumbed to peer pressure in his previous situation. Since arriving at the shelter, he has been a perfect angel who can do no wrong. He seems pretty nosy, though, and would like a home with a nice, big yard that he can explore when the weather is nice. We've noticed Skywalker is also pretty loyal to his human companions and likes to stay as close as possible. We think he would be a perfect fit for an outdoorsy family that needs a furry friend. He is incredibly gentle and calm, so he would be fine in a home with kids of any age or elderly family members. Skywalker is also great with other dogs and would love to be a part of a pack! Skywalker is 40 pounds and about 1 year old. He is a mountain curr mix. He has been vaccinated, dewormed, and tested positive for heartworms but is negative for any tickborne diseases. The adoption fee is $60 with a $60 vet fee to be paid on the day of spay/neuter at Bells Animal Clinic. Alternatively, adopters can have spay/neuter completed at their vet, at their vet's cost. Spay/neuter is required within 30 days of adoption. We have no pull fee and can help arrange transport for local 501c3 rescue groups.
