About Miss Petunia

Hi! I'm Miss Petunia but you can call me Pet if you adopt me! Let's get the obvious out of the way: I have cherry eye which doesn't cause me any problems but eliminates me from making the cover of Dogs Illustrated. If you can look past that, we have a LOT to talk about! I'm a 9-yr old spayed female Bull Terrier mix who weighs in at a sleek 36 lbs. I'm great with people, other dogs, cats, and kids. Did I mention that I like treats (actually, I love them)? And toys? And walks? And snuggles? And just about anything that you might like to do with me. I am also a pro at getting comfortable and finding the best spots in the house. Just ask my foster Mom. She said that, upon arrival, I immediately claimed my favorite spot on the sofa and, when I'm not lounging, I'm enjoying sitting in front of the glass doors to watch the birds outside. Anyone can see that I'm a really easy-going, low-maintenance kinda gal who, despite her years, has a lot of life to live left in her. But a picture (or video) is worth a 1000 words, so PLEASE take the time to look at the professional video (click the You Tube button) created by the nice volunteers at the shelter that they hope will help me win the heart (and home) of some kind person out there.
