Madison has had a very difficult life, she was thrown into the breeder life at just a few months old and spent the first few years of her life housed in a tiny wire cage having litter after litter. She's seen some of her babies slaughtered in front of her for meat and been trucked down the highway in open pickup trucks. Her first few years were utterly terrifying to her and she very narrowly avoided being killed for meat herself when she was no longer useful as a breeder. If one of our volunteers hadn't stepped in, she wouldn't still be here today. Despite the fact that humans have done nothing but exploit her, neglect her, and kill her babies in front of her, Madison's true kind and gentle personality has become more and more apparent in her foster home. Instead of being aggressive or terrified, she's chosen to forgive people and trust in them. She greets her foster with kisses every day and loves to snuggle up for lap time or watch tv. She's very gentle and tolerant, she lets human children play with her and cuddle her and is quiet and calm in every environment. She's the perfect rabbit and is even using her litterbox almost perfectly. She will be an amazing pet for anybody that decides to adopt her! She has perfect manners and aside from loving children she's also great with dogs, cats, and kids. We can't wait to see Madison get her happy ending!
