About Blackie

Blackie is a 1.5-year-old Havana Mix. She is fully grown at three pounds and has beautiful chocolate eyes. Blackie does tend to be very nervous around new people at first and would do best in a home with no young children because they scare her which leads to her hiding. Once she gets to know you, she warms up a lot and her silly personality comes out! She will take treats from you, she'll play with toys, and you can pet her and call her over to you. She does well with other rabbits and with cats. She's more hesitant about dogs but has lived with them in the past without a problem. Occasionally, when she's feeling brave, you'll see her pop onto the bed or couch and do zoomies! Blackie has been waiting for her forever home for almost fourteen months now, she's been passed up because she's a little more shy. It's very rewarding to see her open up though and she's a great bunny. She is litter trained too.
