About Tallulah

Hello, my name is Tallulah. I'm a high energy pup who is always up for some fun, whether it's fetch in the backyard, a walk around the block, or a good long run. If you're up for doing all of these things, particularly in the same day, then we're basically made for each other. I also absolutely love attention and am highly food motivated. I know basic commands, including come when called, sit, down, wait, touch, search, and get the ball. I'm a fast learner (especially when treats are involved), so I can easily learn more commands and in fact, I would love a job or to be given some work to do. I do well living with others; I currently share my home with another dog and have successfully lived with a cat in the past. I also enjoy kids, although younger kids may need to watch out for my tail, which can swing quite enthusiastically and frequently when I am happy or excited. One area that I am still working on is my fearfulness/anxiety. As a stray and then a shelter dog during puppyhood, I did not have a chance to socialize with other dogs and still struggle with staying well-behaved when near dogs who are not part of my social circle. Even though I am housebroken, I also have the occasional pee accident when I completely relax in my sleep (possibly due to being spayed). With love, plenty of exercise, and a little patience, however, I would be an excellent and loyal companion for the right person/family.
