Luna is looking for a child-free, loving home where she can spend most of her day outside with a cozy place to come in and sleep and receive love from her humans at night. She is an incredibly loving, funny, and loyal companion. She loves to play and keep watch over her people and yard. She's totally house-broken and happy to stay outside for most of the day. We rescued her from a shelter three years ago - she was heart-worm positive, had just given birth to puppies, and severely malnourished. Over the last few years, she's grown and is now a thriving happy girl. She is being rehomed due to her reactivity toward small children and visitors - she can be wary of new people and sudden movements, and needs to be monitored when around new people. We are heartbroken to rehome her, but excited for all the joy she will bring to her new parents. Located in the Raleigh/Durham area of NC but willing to travel. Ideally looking for a home with patient owners who understand and love rescue dogs.
