About Toby and Frankie

Toby and Frankie are neutered AKC registered long hair male Dachshunds. These boys are bonded inseparable best friends and must be adopted together and stay together. Toby is a beautiful cream with blue tint born 12/1/20. Frankie is a red born 5/18/22. Both are current on all vaccinations, happy, active, intelligent and healthy. The boys love playing chase/hide-and-seek with each other and checking your grocery bags for their latest new toy. Toby is super affectionate and lives to be close to you. He will always check on Frankie to make sure he is okay, and he will keep a constant eye on you as well. Frankie is so good natured, lives to play and keeps watch over Toby at night while Toby buries himself under the covers. They are a bit spoiled, so they do sleep in the human bed simply because they need to be wherever you are. Toby is a kisser/licker and Frankie is a hugger/nuzzler. During the day they prefer to lay in the same doggie bed watching out the window together. If you have experience with doxies then you know how unique the breed is and how they bond themselves so intensely to their owner and each other. These boys are no exception - they will live for you, so a loving home with lots of attention is an absolute must. I have decided to rehome them because I relocated for work and they are now home alone about 12 hours every day, which is far too much for a breed that is so social. I tried to rehome them before I relocated, but received a lot of questionable messages so I pulled my ad down. So, I am here again making this very difficult decision that really is what is best for them, as they deserve a home where they will receive the time and attention they need and deserve. You will not find a more loving pair. I am asking an adoption fee of $850 for the boys. A portion will go to RescueMe. I will be asking the routine pet adoption questions, check vet and references, and have a meet & greet to introduce them to you. I will only consider North Carolina adoptions since a pre-home visit with the boys will be completed.
