About Sadie Mae

I am asking a friend to look at a rescue group because Sadie does not get along with my animals. I think they overwhelmed her but she tried to fight with our cat. We had to crate her last night and it was traumatic for her. I have kept dogs for people before and we have rescued dogs. She has separation anxiety like my husky mix. I did tell The owner we have three dogs and daughter's two chihuahuas. Her chihuahua has separation anxiety and his energy can set other dogs off. My dogs don't have the best manners and my house is loud. My husband is a mail carrier and he was mauled by a dog this summer. It was bad enough he had to be off for a month and has started therapy for PTSD. I never thought that would be an issue but her growl sounds like the dog that attacked him. My kids are away because I am having surgery today but my oldest son has autism and can't handle the noise. I don't know what to do with her. I feel like a terrible person. We tried to put a muzzle on her but she adamantly takes it back off. I have cried my eyes out because she can't stay with us. She needs to be socialized and I am not very good with that. Our kids are coming home tomorrow so I have to put her somewhere by then. The shelter will put her down so I am desperate. If you know anyone that can take her please please let me know. I am so sorry to put this on you.. When she has been with just my husband and me she has been great. She is very sweet and bond's easily. Her owners have taken excellent care of her including mixing dry food with Caesar's every meal. She is a 3 year old beagle and Bassett hound mix. I was her last resort or hail Mary for the owner. She only needs a place to stay three months but if a good forever home opportunity opens up I would talk to her owner but think we would all agree it is in her best interest. Here I have to keep her in a crate which only makes things worse.�%A0�%A0We are desperate because she cannot stay here with us and I afraid her situation will only get worse.
