XENA #A522469 was a featured pet of the week who is now about to lose her life! I am described as a spayed female, black German Shepherd Dog. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years old. I weigh approximately 76.80 lbs. XENA IS ON THE EUTH LIST - SHE NEEDS HER HERO NOW! Shelter is out of space - please come save this sweet girl! Shelter staff says this about me: 04/17/23 Very sweet and loving, well behaved. she sits and plays with toys. Introduced her to a large male shepherd and she did well. She is calm when first being introduced but she is definitely the alpha dog and well try to correct the other dog. She listens to my correction to stop, and she will walk away easily. She responds well to play commands and will start to run and play with the other dog. New adopter must be advised that she may need training. She was involved a dog fight but I believe she may have been correcting the puppy, as the puppy was very hyper and had bad manners. I was bruised by the puppy she was kenneled with that was involved in the dog fight with this girl 03/30/23 Sweet and well-behaved, has good manners. Easy to leash and walked well. 03/23/23 Dog was amazing and very loving during the visit very good girl
