Age: 4 years old Located in a foster home in CT Weight: 77 lbs Vet Record: 100% vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, male Hello, my name is Oscar and I'm looking for love. Right now, I am hanging my foster family in Connecticut. I love the fenced yard and their dog. I really like dogs! I love to play with them and hope to have a playmate at my forever home. I'm not so sure about cats, but I have a can-do attitude and with your help, I will try. Mom took me to the vet this week and I am fit as fiddle and up to date on all my shots. The Vet thought I'm a pretty great catch. He took a good look at my leg and does not see any immediate problems but probably arthritis in the future, but for now, I can jump, run, dance, chase, and walk for miles. As you can see from my pictures, I am part hound of some kind. That means that I am a super sniffer. Mom takes me for walks and the neighbors think I'm so handsome and well behaved, but I hear mom say that my leash skills need some work. My house skills are top-notch. I don't eat garbage, make messes, chew remotes, counter surf, lick the dishwasher, bark at passers-by, or charge to door. I am a very good boy and I am so happy to have the run of the place. When my folks come home, I greet them with a whole-body wiggle and my unique silly face. Mom thinks my silly face gets me in trouble. I'm a very sweet, happy boy that needs time to get comfortable. When I got here, I was unhappy and insecure. I am so thankful that my folks stuck it out with me and in just 2 short weeks I feel so much better, I am a confident, energetic boy that is ready to make new friends, and love you with all my heart. The forever family that I am dreaming about has experience with large breeds, super sniffers a plus, they have another dog, a fenced yard, older children, a big comfy couch or two, squirrels that I can chase, and birds to watch. I have a lot of energy and act more like a puppy sometimes. I will need help with boundaries and in return, I will be your attentive, loving, and faithful companion.
