About Gendry

This gorgeous red Border Coolie boy is Gendry. He is about a year and a half old and weighs 40 pounds. Gendry knows his basics and a few tricks, too: sit, down, roll over, wait, speak, shake, and crate on command. He is house and crate trained. Gendry, like most herders, prefers a polite introduction to new people. He also isn't a fan of kids, so a home with people under high school age isn't likely a fit for him. Gendry lives with another dog and is fine. He does need a polite intro to new dogs and isn't a fan of bossy, pushy, or excited dogs. Calm and respectful dogs are fine. This also means that Gendry is not a dog park kind of guy. As for play, he loves to play with people. He LOVES to fetch and will play as long as possible. Gendry is a good traveler in the car and is decent on leash. He could use his leash manners polished. He is also a good alarm system, barking when a noise needs your attention. That also means he isn't a fit for an apartment. With his people, Gendry is a sweet boy who adores play. He would be a solid performance sports candidate�'�|or hiking/camping buddy. Gendry is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is located in Simi Valley. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
