About Rascal

My name is Rascal. I am a bundle of fun at 40 lbs and about 2.5 to 3 years old. I am a Cattle Dog/Carolina Mix. I am a super cool dude - I am medium to high energy so I need a family that is active and likes to take walks with their dog and perhaps some hikes now and then. A fenced in yard is ideal for me so I can play fetch and hang out in the sun. But, that being said, I won't bounce off your walls with hyperactivity! I am a happy boy, will gladly sit at your feet and lean against your leg for belly rubs too! I am good with other dogs and having a canine buddy in my home is totally something I am into but it isn't a requirement. I am housebroken and I am crate-trained. Not sure on cats. And kids, I have had no issue meeting them or any people in general (okay with men too) but sturdy kids 8+ would be great just because I can still occasionally jump when excited. I will need some leash work - I am not so familiar with it at this point but I am really trainable. I have only worn it going to and from appointments so someone that can get me a nice harness and show me what this leash thing will allow me to do would be awesome. I am a really nice and joyful boy and as you can see, I have the best smile! I also can entertain myself with toys and I love to play keep away!
