Hi, I'm JoJo. I am a terrier mix that came to my Fur Fun Rescue foster home a couple of months ago after I was rescued from a bad situation. The rescuers called it a hoarder situation. I was really skinny and very hungry. One of my legs didn't work so well because I was in a cage that was too small for my growing body. But now I am happy and healthy. I got plenty of food and I'm now around 30 pounds at 9 months of age. I live in a foster home with 2 other dogs that I like to play with. I get plenty of exercise which helped me get stronger. My leg was still bothering me, so I went to see the vet. They found out that my knee pops out of place toward the outside of my body. I had to go back for surgery but now my leg feels much better. I had to rest for a while, which is hard for a young pup like me, but now I'm ready to run again. I love to play fetch and play chase with the other dogs in my foster home. They are smaller than me, but we are good friends. My foster mom says that I am an athletic dog, and my new home should have a fenced yard for me to run and play in. She takes me for walks and I'm getting better at not tugging her around on my leash. I need a little more practice. When we go inside, I like to be in a lap if I can. I really like to be with people. If there isn't a lap to sit in I will seek out any sunbeams coming through the windows to lay in. Or I find a blanket to curl up in. I will go into a kennel if there is no one home with me. My foster mom says that you will want to know that I am house trained. Also, that I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, I am microchipped, and heartworm tested.
