About Polly

Polly is a 1 year old German Shepherd mix who is sweet, gentle and easy to live with. Polly is house and crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. She is not interested in toys, but enjoys exploring the outside world. She would do well in a home with a women or a very patient man who understands her shyness. Generally, Polly just avoids things that make her uncomfortable, so a home that recognizes those signals is important. Polly is a rock star with other dogs. She has been instrumental during play sessions with other dogs at the shelter. The staff says Polly is their go-to-gal in helping to teach other dogs about play. She is a socially stable dog and would do well in a multi-dog home. Polly would be a great companion for someone who works at home and she would also enjoy having another canine companion at home.
