About Jazz

Hi, My name is Jazz. I've had a rough life so far. I was born in a puppy mill out in Georgia, I was then adopted by my moms brother and his girlfriend and brought out to the great state of Nebraska. I've lived in Nebraska for about a year now. My old dad wasn't feeding or watering me and I don't know what I did wrong. my current mom took me in and has been spoiling me and my loving personality has started to show. I am a very lovable and cuddly dog. I want to be by your side and cuddle with you. I currently have a big brother that I was jealous of for the first week. I wanted all the attention and did snap at him when he went near my dad. After a week he and I started warming up to each other. We now play by mouthing each other. I haven't quite learned how to be gentle and will occasionally grab him. my mom and dad have been correcting me and I feel I'm learning. I learned to sit here, I'm also learning to sit pretty. I am very food motivated. i will grab food off the counter or table if you leave it unattended. We don't know how jazz does with cats or kids. She learns quick, she is stubborn in bed and wont move unless you move her yourself. I got her and was told she was food aggressive. I personally dont see it. i have held her food bowl and she is just fine. my other dog will walk by her and be near her food and she doesnt growl or show any aggression towards him. they did take a bit to warm up to each other and i would recommend keeping on a leash cause she did lunge at him for the first week.
