About Izzy

Look at that sweet face. Izzy is a super sweet girl. She was found wandering the street by the police and nobody ever came looking for her. She is friendly, a little on the shy, submissive side and definitely has a hound's nose. She enjoys walks where she can sniff at her leisure. Her pretty amber eyes will melt your heart. Izzy is fine with cats. She has soulful eyes and is looking for a family to call her own. She is available for virtual meet and greets. Our adoption application can be found at www.dixieadoptables.org **We are a rescue in Mississippi that travels up the East coast once a month to meet adopters with their pre-adopted dogs and cats at a predetermined time and location. Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.
