About Clive

This is Clive, a 3 & 1/2 year old Texas Heeler. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Clive has a ton of energy and our small yard just doesn't allow enough room for him to run and play freely; he needs more space and more interaction than what we can provide for him. He would do best in a home as the only pet and with no small children. He has grown up with another, older female dog, but Clive has more energy to play with her than what she can match, so he tends to overwhelm her. He has also grown up with two cats, but the cats don't like Clive so we keep them separated. Clive is very smart, knows basic commands (sit, lay down, shake, high five, say please), he is very treat-motivated, he walks well with a harness and leash, and would do well with a job and a way to burn off all that energy. As a herding dog, he would really thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard or some acreage. I'm hoping to place him fairly quickly into a patient and loving home.
