About Cookie (FKA Lavender)

LOCATION: Manheim, Pennsylvania DOB: 12/12/2022 Dear Diary, It's me-Cookie (but you already knew that hehe). This has been a great week and I finally have a second to jot down my thoughts. So here goes-I will be quick though cuz I have a fun afternoon planned of smelling flowers and being well, adorable. First, I got sprung from the shelter. No need to dwell on that sorry situation. Let's move on. Next, I got to ride in this fun zoomie thing that goes really fast and I landed at this great place called My Foster Home. How lucky am I? It's great here. I get to play and be silly and I eat good food and take nice, long naps. My Foster Mom calls me Cookie cuz I am soooo sweet but then she also calls me 'Wiggle Butt' and everybody laughs so hard. I think it's cuz when I get excited my back end goes boop, boop, boop back and forth. The other cool thing is I get to be around these people that are small like me. I heard my Foster Mom call them 'The Kids'. They like to do the same things I like to do-play, eat, sleep. And I'm gentle around them cuz I know their little bodies are special. But since I am still just a puppy, it's always good to have a grown up around when we play. Honestly, I really like all people, not just the small ones. I love a nice, warm body to curl up against and close my eyes. My furry foster sibling told me it's called 'snuggling' and that humans like that sort of stuff. (Wanna know a secret? I like that stuff, too.) And I like all sized dogs, too. My Foster Mom says I'm 'laid-back'. I think that means I do okay in pretty much any situation. And already I've learned so much about being a good dog. I know the green stuff outside is for potty. I can hold it almost every time but now and again I have an accident. But I feel bad afterwards and try harder the next time to do it right. I don't mind at all going into a kennel. And sometimes we practice walking on a leash which was sorta confusing at first, but I'm getting better and better at it each time. My Foster Mom says I'm smart and I take corrections well. So, that's what's going on here. I think 'here' is a temporary holdover spot until My Forever Home can be found. I hate to hear that it's lost so I hope someone finds it soon cuz I'd really like to go there. My Foster Mom says My Forever Home will be full of love and warmth and all the snuggles my wiggly butt can handle.
