About Gracie

Gracie is gorgeous! With the softest brown fur, she may be part Heeler and she definitely has the curiosity and focus of this very smart breed. She acts tougher than she really feels and for that reason would do better with adults or a family with children over 8 years old, who have learned to treat all dogs, but especially puppies, with gentleness and love. Gracie loves to play and enjoys cuddling with her siblings. So, a squishy bed and stuffy toy to keep her company during nap time would be welcome. She may not mind a fur brother or sister but will always want to feel like the number one dog in the house. Gracie will be fun and so loving in her forever home. Could you be waiting for this wonderful girl? Gracie is a stunning 11-week old, 12 lbs heeler golden retriever mix puppy (best guess!). She's another puppy we took into our rescue when she was found dumped on a dirt road late at night left to fend for herself - it's a miracle she survived!�%A0 She is beautiful, sweet and friendly!�%A0 Gracie is being fostered in the Hamptons, NY. Her foster mom says,�%A0'Gracie is a loving and also independent girl! She loves playing with other puppies but will take her toy and go off to do her own thing, or come to snuggle with one of us. She sleeps through the night and is working on house training.'�%A0 She is vaccinated and microchipped. The adoption fee is $675. We require a fully fenced yard and not a invisible fence, for the safety of the dog.
