URGENT- MARICOPA SHELTER IS FULL AND EUTHANIZING DOGS FOR SPACE- Please help us find a loving home or foster and or rescue for this beautiful chow german shepherd young lady now at the Maricopa East shelter. Honey Bear got her name because she looks like a cute bear! She loves lying in the sun and rolling in the grass. The person who found her said she was great with children once she had time to get to know them - she's just a little shy at first! The shelter believes Honey Bear is three years old and weighs 66 lbs. Per the shelter volunteer, ' Honey Bear was calm in the kennel .. easily leashed and exited with no fighting.. pulls a little initially but then walks well on the leash.. likes some treats, doesn't want to or doesn't know sit.. no reaction to a passing dog on the green belt.. .. got a little more animated when we got back to the shelter and saw dogs in the play yard but NOT in an aggressive manner.. went right back into the kennel and easily unleashed..' Honey Bear is already spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and ready to go home! For direct adoption inquiries, you may contact the shelter using her listing link: https://apps.pets.maricopa.gov/adoptablePets/DetailPage.aspx?RecordLocator=ODIyNDk5MjdB or by calling (602) 506-6030 (and ask for ID A4838231 ) or visit Maricopa.gov/Pets.
