About Bo

HELP US PLEASE...Bo needs a home. Bo came to us due to his owner's death and the family could not care for him. We retrieved him right from knee surgery and nursed him back to health. He was 164 lbs when he came to us. He is now about 130 lbs. and doing very well. He is on Gabapentin for joint pain. He loves everyone and will walk into our cat kennel and let the cats wind around his legs. He loves his XL Kong and to run! His birthday is 3/3/2018. We were told he was purchased as an AKC, but there is no paperwork to support it. He loves back scratches and attention, will sit on command, retrieves a thrown Kong, but chews tennis balls to bits. My husband had a severe injury followed by surgery. Recently, we had a fire. We are needing to find a home for Bo so that he gets the attention he deserves. He is a wonderful and fun mini horse so he needs a bit of yard to stay active. Please consider this very special fellow for your home. He was an inside the house animal from puppy to about 3.5 years and has had and indoor/outdoor kennel with us. In the picture, Bo is on the right. Our 14 year old Red, who has passed, is on the left. Bo was never allowed to be a puppy before us. He loves attention, loves to play, and loves to run. He just wants loving. Our grandchildren are out of state and have not met Bo when he could be active. We believe he would be a great companion to children. Help him find his best life. Physical and health issues require us to send him on to a better home for him.This is the latest picture of Bo. He is 30 inches to his withers and 40 inches to the top of his head. I have no way of weighing him, but he looks VERY healthy now! ***Please do not email us to criticize us or question his size. This is Bo! If you want to tell us there is no way he is this big, that is not helping. We desperately need him to have a wonderful home.
