About Hank

Meet Hank! This gorgeous hunk of a German Shepherd is roughly 1 and a half years old. Hank LOVES people and does well with older children. (Littles are an unknown.) He is loving, gentle mouthed, good natured, smart and aims to please. A bit of a goof-ball, this gentle guy loves attention and loves to go for car rides. Going for long walks and exploring with his canine buddies are two of his favorite things - and he handles being on a leash with ease! Hank is crate trained but enjoys being outside. Because he is so easy to train, it would likely not take much to potty train him. Hank has been exposed to ducks and geese without problems. He does great with other dogs. Cats on the other hand, are definitely not his favorite. He has shown aggression towards kitties and will need extra guidance if walking or playing in an area where cats may be. He has also shown aggression with horses. German Shepherds are a working breed and need lots of room to exercise, as well as mental stimulation. Hank is also a bit of an escape artist; like most GSDs, he will need a tall, secure enclosure. Please, only apply if you can give Hank a fur-ever home.
