About Qurina

*Courtesy post* ***Qurina's AMAZING Day Out!! WOW!! What a HIDDEN GEM!! Qurina has been sitting in boarding since Jan 2022, it was time for her to get some time away from living in a kennel 24/7. Qurina was so happy to join me on our time away! We were joined with another volunteer and fur-dog Hawkeye. She waited patiently to get into the car, the first time she was a little hesitant, but after a second she jumped in with no issues. She was a bit nervous for the first few minutes in the car, but then she settled and watched out the window and took in some fresh air. Qurina was so happy and ready to go when we arrived at Papago Park! As we began our walk/hike together, there were ducks, people passing on bikes, and other dogs walking by, she had no reaction to the other dogs. She wasn't bothered by any of it. Qurina was more interested in walking, exploring and taking in all the new sights and smells. Hawkeye and Qurina seemed curious with each other, but never had any reaction to one another. We stumbled upon another volunteer who had a shelter dog out for the day, and Qurina never tried to pull, never barked or have any type of reaction to the other dog, she just looked at him and moved on, we all actually sat in a circle and chatted, all 3 dogs just sat down and relaxed. She knows sit and takes her treats so gently, she is very affectionate and loving, she will shower you with kisses. She loves to be pet. It was time to head to grab some lunch, and a special treat. Qurina enjoyed her cheeseburgers and nuggets, along with a yummy ice cream cone. She is such a special girl, she will make someone very happy. Qurina is around 2.5-3 yrs old, boxer/american bulldog mix, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. No cats, no small dogs, if you have another dog a dog introduction will be required. Older kids, as she is a bit shy at first. Let's get her out of living in boarding and into a home. She is so worth it.
