Meeka celebrated her second birthday in January of 2023. She is a quieter dog, and loves humans. She has a high prey drive, so the rescue will require a fenced yard for her. Because she was on her own for a long time before caught by animal control, she guards her food bowl. This is why we feel she is best in a home without small children. She has NOT gone after anyone at all, we are just being overly cautious to protect everyone. Meeka needs a chance to feel safe and know her home and food are stable and continuous, so she can become the best possible pet. She is presently being fostered in Martinsburg, WV.
