LOCATION: Dickson, Tennessee DOB: 02/11/2020 (Estimate) Hey! It's your lucky day today cuz you just found me and I've been looking for you! My name is Shiloh. Did you know that having a dog AND petting a dog is good for your health? And did you know that going on walks can be good for your heart? Guess what? I'm a DOG and I LOVE TO BE PET and I love going on LONG WALKS! What are the odds of that? I guess I'm a little mish-mash when it comes to my personality. I can be shy and timid but I can also get a little rambunctious when the feeling comes over me. Sometimes, when I'm feeling lovey, I will lay my head in your lap just so you know I'm there. I haven't really been around people much so learning to socialize is sort of new for me. And because my interactions with humans were limited, I haven't had much training at anything. I'm okay on a leash. I don't pull too badly unless something catches my eye. My potty training is going well. Before I came to my foster home, I didn't know my business was supposed to be done outside. I've come a long way! I have a kennel-but I'm not thrilled with it. My foster mom has left me unsupervised in the garage when she's gone, and I've done fine. I may countersurf inside if given the opportunity. Mom thinks I probably wasn't an inside dog in my previous situation but I am finding being inside a home a nice place to be. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer-yeah, I think I can do this. I can do without cats-sometimes I chase them- but my foster mom is working with me on that. I do like car rides, though. And I don't chase cars like I chase cats. That would be silly. I am really hoping to find a home where I can feel safe and loved. I promise if you adopt me, I will do my best to be a good dog (Scout's Honor). I am learning everyday how fun it is to be loved by people.
