About Dakota

Dakota is shy at first, but very sweet once warmed up to you. She was rescued from a backyard breeder who was using her for puppies at the age of 3. She is now 7 years old and weighs around 80 pounds. Her owner lost his home and has nowhere to house her. She cannot be in a home with other dogs, but is great with cats. She would also make a great farm dog as she loves horses, not sure about kids though. She is quite vocal, so a house with a yard is preferred. She is not as high energy as she used to be, but does require a decent amount of daily exercise (i.e. fetch, long walks, etc.) She knows basic obedience and prefers the ball over treats. Needs home ASAP.
