About Kayla

Kayla is looking for a new home out in the country. She's a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. She will need to be an only dog because she can get jealous of other dogs to the point of nipping them if she feels they are getting more attention. She will be a great family and house protector. She doesn't do well with small children. She has excelled at flyball and will be starting barn hunt this weekend ( the class was paid for before we decided to rehome her) I will only rehome her to a country home. Kayla was born on a cattle farm and she has shown that she is not cut out for city life. She has a high prey drive so she will need some training to leave small livestock alone. She would make a great hiking companion. She has shown great herding potential but has not been trained for it. She's an indoor dog and has never been outside by herself for more than two hours. She will be ready to go at the end of March when her shots are up to date and her barn hunt class is done.
