About Margie

Margie is the most devoted, attentive, and loving dog I have ever owned and I am extremely attached to her, which makes this extremely difficult. She did very well in my home for 6 months, and I thought she had found her forever home. However, recently she started to growl at my husband and air bite and has had 2 fights with my other large breed dog resulting in injury. I rescued her, so I do not know her trauma history, or all of her triggers. I am taking her to a behavior expert to work on these issues and find the correct medication to help with anxiety related aggression. I think that she would do better in a home without dogs, men, or young children. So far she has been good with our cat but he is very mellow. Margie needs a forever home and is an excellent companion who makes me feel protected.
