About Stefan

This is Stefan, he is 4 years old and has been overlooked at the shelter almost a full year. Despite this he has stayed calm, friendly, affectionate & so incredibly appreciative of attention that it melts and breaks your heart at the same time. Stefan is well-behaved, rides well in the car, walks like a dream on leash, has excellent table manners, doesn't beg, snatch or jump up. He loves being pet, having adventures, wearing elaborate glasses & he likes his Going Out jacket too which will obviously serve him better in Maine than in his native Florida. Stefan has been tried in playgroups twice in a year & didn't enjoy it. That's not to say he wouldn't come to like a doggie friend eventually but being thrown into a large group of unfamiliar dogs who he only usually sees when they walk by his kennel barking at him wasn't an appealing experience for him. He has done great on individual meet and greets though. He hasn't been around cats but he completely ignores smaller creatures such as squirrels & appears to have zero interest in them. This darling boy has waited so long & so patiently while the more rambunctious dogs get the attention & just needs that special someone to see how perfect he is
