About Jake

Meet Jake. My husband found him in a field behind our property and the vet put his age at around 2.5 years. He is very lovable, loves to hug you and highly intelligent. He is not neutered. Not house broken. NO CATS! He does well with my Doberman but I do not know about small dogs. Must have a 6' fence cause he jumps 4'fences. I don't know about kids. We have been working on getting him to stop jumping, walking on a leash and very basic training. We used the Gentle Leader and Jake did SUPER. He is eager to learn and please, especially with treats. We are seniors and he is just to much dog for us, plus we cannot let him inside because we have indoor cats. We cannot afford to re-fence our property and I can't stand to keep him on a cable outside all the time. He needs someone who can spend a lot of time with him and gives him the attention he deserves. I was hoping to send him up north to Colorado but that did not pan out. Please only serious inquires.
