Meet Gemma Beautiful Gemma is a wonderful young dog. We rescued Gemma from a high-kill shelter and we are so can't believe that she has been with us since 2021. She is amazing. Gemma is now over four years old and does not deserve to live out her life in a shelter. She is thought to be a McNab Shepherd, possibly mixed with lab. Whatever her breeds, we think she is simply FANTASTIC! This young sweetie LOVES being around people. She is affectionate and friendly and has been from the minute we met her. She likes certain other dogs, but can be somewhat particular about dogs so will need to be tested with any potential adopter's dogs. Gemma has a lot of energy and will do best with an active family or person, who can give her a lot of attention. She is very smart and is happiest when she is engaged in activities. Even though it'll be important to exercise her and give her plenty of things to do, she can be very calm and focused for such a young dog. Her intelligence and demeanor should help make training her pretty easy. Gemma travels well and enjoys adventures. She is quick with doggie kisses and happy tail wags. She walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and appears to be house trained. Gemma is a people-pleaser, happy go-lucky, wind-at-the-back kind of girl. A long way to say, Gemma is a gem of a dog. The family or person lucky enough to adopt this beauty, will be richly rewarded with a great companion. If interested in Gemma, please submit an application on the homepage of this website www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org Please call our shelter at 706-865-4135 or email us at [email protected] to verify that we received your application. .
